EDUCATOR IN THE WORKPLACE OPEN FOR 2010!

The Educator in the Workplace Program is open to middle school and high school educators within the six school districts of Adams County. Educators take a three credit course at Shippensburg University and attend a non-credit orientation session at South Western High School. They then spend 24 hours in a local business for the purpose of becoming aware of how the business operates, understanding its needs and expectations, and determining how the subject they teach or the role they play in the school relates to business.

The Adams County Business Education Partnership (ACBEP) also provides a stipend to educators who successfully complete the program.
